What kind of a title??

Hardest part of blogging, coming up with the post title. Lame or what?!!
First things first, specials for this month. Host a SU! workshop and when you get to $450 in sales you'll recieve an EXTRA $35 credit to spend how you want.
Also have a wheeling promotion. Find out how to earn a free jumbo wheel by calling or emailing me.

So Dwight quit his job in Morden and started at WES in Winkler. Before he left, he was given a few parting gifts from staff so I needed to make a few thank you cards. Here are 2 of them. (can't post them all in one day ;) )
This card is CASEd from SCS. It's the waterpaper mist technique. Turned out pretty cool. I misted the watercolor paper and then stamped the trees in Always Artichoke so it would bleed. Then when is was dry I stamped over with the brown stazon ink. I don't have the distressing tool but now it's on my wishlist. This card uses the new Essence of Love stamp set. (another fav) I stamped the flowers and thankyou in Bravo Burgandy and embossed the butterfly with silver ep.

And for a dear friend of mine, Carol, I made this thinking of you /sympathy card. She had to put her puppy to rest after being a member of the family for 2years. I'll try to drop it off this weekend Carol.
It's from the For Father stamp set. I watercolored the image and used the Paisley background stamp on the green. I made my own corner thingie (still want the punch though).

an early good morning to you all

So we've been up since 6:20am today. That's sleeping in compared to yesterdays 4:45am. How did I produce an offspring that loves to get up that early??? So anyway, in a perfect world that would mean by now I would have put a few miles on the treadmill. I guess I can't keep my big butt a secret any longer. lol Instead, I'm on my second cup of coffee and updating my blog.
Here are a few cards I did at parties during SAB. It's over now and I'm glad I'll get to take a bit of a break. I was booking 2-3 parties a week. whew, I'm tired. But a big thanks to all my hostesses who hosted these parties, they all turned out great!
This first card is made with a SAB set, Friendship Blooms. It was the most popular set to be picked. I love the big flower and swirls. This card was done with a new set from the mini catalog, For Father. A great set for watercoloring, which has a been a popular technique lately.

This card I made a while ago actually. For a friend. Forgot that it was still in my camera. oops
It's done with the Priceless set. (still a fav) The pink brads look better IRL.

So, hopefully with painting done and SAB over, I'll have more time for some me stamping. Okay, actually after the long weekend as we're having house guests for the weekend.

New layout

So here is a layout I did this morning at 7am. I knew what I wanted to do for my stampers girls, just had to get it done. But now I realize I forgot to put the rhinestone brads on. I'll do that right away.
The other layout I'm still working on. Some of my girls do not like 'white space' so I try to accomadate both.

My gosh!

It's been a long time. Didn't realize how long it's been since I've last posted. Thankgoodness for friends who let me know when I've been slacking! *wink wink* You know who you are!

So I don't have any new cards to upload, maybe later this week. But I do want to show you what I've been busy with...
Yep, I painted my house. Wow, what a job! I even painted the ceiling. The main color is Benjamin Moore Hemp Seed, such a warm color. The accent wall in the living room is Sussex Green and the one in the dining room is Cimaron. I still haven't finished hanging all my pictures and stuff. I also want to get a new coffee table/end table set.
I even painting my own tile. I used the same color as the wall in the dining room. It only took 4 hours to tape and 5 mins to paint. *augh* but so worth it!

Of course, Carter had to help too! He saw a paint brush and a small container of paint and thought he should help me. By the time I found it, it was dry so I have no idea how to get it off without wrecking the paint underneath. Good help is so hard to find. lol
