Turn your $30 class fee into merchandize

Wouldn't it be great to have the $30 you paid for scrap day turn into $30 to spend on scrapbooking supplies??? Well here's your chance. For every friend you sign up for scrap day gives you an entry into a draw to win your fee in merchandize. Only rule is this friend can't be on my list. So if you know of anyone else who would love to spend the day scrapping with us, give them a call and invite them. We're about 1/2 full right now so there is still time.
I was also going to add I'll be bringing my big shot and whatever dies I have with for you to use. I'm getting so excited for October 25th, don't know if I'll be able to sleep the night before. lol Can 't wait to scrap with you all.

My scrappers6 club is starting again this week so I'll be showing more layouts once again. Feels like I haven't scrapbooked in weeks. Also with my boys going to bed sooner means more time in the evening for me to get some stuff done. yeah!

Have a great day all!

Score!!

Look at what my wonderful husband scored for me!! The dollar store in Morden closed recently and Dwight was refinishing the floor. He noticed the racks in the storage room and called to see if the owner was willing to sell them knowing I would be interested. Woohoo. 10 bucks a rack, can't get cheaper than that. The tall white one has 24 slots for 12 x 12 paper, the small black one I sold (well she hasn't paid me yet) to my sister and it holds 8.5 x 11 paper. The tall black one, Irina, will be great for displaying all my cards.
Now I get to rearrange my room once again. But that's fun.

30...

I made 30 of these cards for a swap I joined. The rules were you had to use a new stamp set and an In Color color. My color was Kiwi Kiss and I used Upsy Daisy stamp set. What do you think? After 30 I got tired of looking at it. But I can't wait to see the 30 different cards I get back. I'll post when I get them, I think it's sometime in October. (that narrows it down, lol)

SO, I want to have a scrap day and I was going to do it on November 1st but a few people *ahem Eva* wanted it sooner. Would the 11th or 18th of October work for you girls?? Let me know. I'll let you know full details in the next day or two but the cost will likely be $25 or $30 and the time 9am-6 or 9pm. I'll have my stamp sets there for you to use as well as my new big shot, some punches and stuff. One meal will be included as well. A project and some awesome draws and specials!! You won't want to miss it.

Totally UNfair

As you know, I have been working very diligently getting stuff ready for the Pumpkin Fair on October 4th. (BTW, I have a few more pics to edit and upload yet) I've been looking forward to this day as it really boosts my customer base and I sell a lot of cool stuff. Anyway, SU! just announced they are having a demonstrator seminar in Winnipg. WINNIPEG!! This is a first, so I was excited to go. Of course, what day do they pick to have this seminar, yep, October 4th. Make me mad. So now I have cancelled the Pumpkin Fair so I can go to the seminar, which will also help my business. But still!! Why can't I have a clone when needed?????

Too excited

to wait until tomorrow to post this beautiful card, which of course I made. (just showing a little self love, lol) I used my top notes die but instead of making just a single die cut, I folded the Pink Pirouette cardstock in half and didn't cut all the way around. You can see the top fold. Then I ran the piece of Neutrals Ivory through the die to layer it. The heart was also from a sizzlet die in the Pink Pirouette. I used Baroque Motifs for the background swirls, Paisley background stamp on the heart, and the butterfly from Dreams du jour. Inked with Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip ink and little dazzling diamonds to the butterfly. It's a baby card I'll be mailing to a friend of mine. Hope she likes it. Oh, and the dots in the scallops are done with the white gel pen. It's so pretty in real life, wish the camera could capture it.
Enjoy!

October 17th Stationary Set

I finally got my sample done for the Stationary set class. This class will be held on Friday, October 17th at 7pm. (at my house) Cost is $30. Please let me know by the 14th so I can have all the supplies ready. I will have everything precut and prescored for you!! This makes a GREAT gift for the hard to shop for person.
In this self contained box you'll find 4 cards (A2 size plus envelopes), 4 - 3x3 cards (plus envelopes), 4 gift tags, mini notebook, postage stamp pocket, and pen holder. I'll also include 2 regular postage stamps and a pen so this set is ready to go.

Big Shot

So here it is, my new toy. The Big Shot. SU! has partnerd with Sizzix so now we can sell the Big Shot, plus a large variety of dies, including some dies that are exclusive to SU! Check out the Holiday Mini for details.

I've had so much fun playing with this thing, it's addicting. If you're interested in checking out to see what this Big Shot is all about, pop in (just call first) and try it out. If you like it and want to cut images for yourself I've decided to kind of do a rental fee idea. You can come to my house and cut whatever you want (you supply your own material or buy mine) for $5/hour. Although after you try mine you'll want to buy your own. LOL

Here are the cards sent to me from my downline Liz. We did a bit of a card swap, just between her, Nettie (my other downline) and myself. Aren't they beautiful?? Thanks so much Liz. Sorry I was too lazy to retake each card individually to upload to this computer.
So it looks like I've picked the wrong day for the watercolor technique class. What day would you like? I can postpone or bump up, whichever way it works for you that are interested. Please let me know. Thanks.
Okay, I'm off to make the stationary set for my October class. You'll love this project!
till we ink again...
