How many days until Christmas??

Well, probably not enough days to get everything done. At least for me. We've hardly started our shopping and I still need to make all my cards. Good thing I'm having a card class!!
This year I'm offering 2 card classes. One on Nov. 15th, and one on Nov. 22nd, at 1pm. Both are Saturdays, seems to work best for most everyone. Cost is $30 for 15 cards, plus envelopes. Everything is precut and scored, you just need to stamp and assemble. We'll do 5 different designs, 3 of each. Just for a little variety. Space is limited to 6 girls each day. If more sign up I could do an am class on one of the Saturdays. You know the drill, call or email me.

I have to go to my Aunt's funeral on Saturday so I won't get as much scrapping done as I had hoped. Plus, as some of you know, my 16 year old stepson moved in with us so things are a little "different" here right now.

Hope to share more projects soon.

Well I must say scrap day was a huge success!! Thanks to all who came. We had a total of 25 woman sign up and we gave away over $300 in goodie bags and prizes. I think everyone enjoyed themselves and lots of scrapping, chatting, and eating got done.
We will definately be hosting another scrapday in the spring so stay tuned!
I'm posting a few pictures from the day. We used the library at the WES so it was kind of divided into two which I thought worked out really well to keep the noise level down a little and gave everyone a little extra elbow room. There was a table full of layouts made with the sketch challenge, so glad so many of you took on the challege, the layouts were great.
This layout was one of my favorites that I saw that day. Made by the talented Carol. I think because this layout "speaks volumes" about Ryan. If you know this kid, he is ALWAYS living on the edge. And gosh is he cute to boot!!!
Thanks again everyone, can't wait till spring.

ScrapDay...

is coming. If you haven't signed up yet, you better hurry, we only have 6 spots left.
I'm so excited for a whole day of scrapping. Although I think I'll be working on Christmas gifts that day. If you have any questions about the day, just give me a call. The tables will be set up the night before so at 9am come in, sit down and start creating!!

I have a project and card I want to upload yet and show you. We made them at the regionals and are very cute! Hopefully tonight.

Until then...

Feeling neglected??

I haven't been paying attention to you lately, I'm sorry. Things are so busy here I keep thinking I'll post tomorrow, and obviously I don't. I try to tell Dwight I need to quit my day job so I can keep up with all my SU! stuff. For some reason he didn't agree!!

I do have some shares for you. On Oct. 4th I spent the day in Winnipeg at a SU! regional. These are some of the projects they had on display. The lighting was horrible but I still got a few shots.
The first one here is a box. You just trace a template onto cs, stamp as desired and assemble.
This little mini envelope is actually cut from a die for the big shot. How cute is that?? The envelope is slightly smaller than a gift card.
Another cute little box also cut from a template. A great little addition to a table setting or create a cluster of different sizes for a focal point.
I love this picture frame! So easy but so beautiful. They used the decor elements rubons. Can't wait to try it myself.
Isn't this the best cookie jar ever? How would you like to have one of these in your kitchen? They just used a jar and a stickie letter with glitter.

So I hope you enjoyed these little projects, I know I'll be trying some myself.

Another reminder about ScrapDay, today is the deadline for signing up. However, we still have 6 spots left so if you still want to come call me now. This is another reason I've been so busy, getting ready for this superfun day!!
