Another layout

This is a 8 x 8 page that I'll be adding to my 'Book of Me' I'm doing right now. The ribbon is actually pattern paper.
My sister tells me Ashley is developing some of the same 'quirks' that I have (and have had since childhood). Too funny.

Was a little productive last night

This is a card I got done last night. Looks Like Spring stamp set and a little faux stitching. I want to give it to some friends that helped us move.

This is my nephew, Brenden (obviously). It looks much better IRL. Background pp is from the Spring Showers pack and the green pp, orange strip and yellow circle are from the Out & About simply scrappin' kit. Also used Well Worn Alpha and Bold Alpha Number 4.

A few layouts...

The pattern paper is from the Spring Showers line. I drew and cut out all the stars by hand. I then drew random lines around the outside of the stars.
This is a layout about my son Colby and his best friend Tessa. The pattern paper and tag are from the Out & About Simply Scrappin' kit. The chipboard title 'friends' is non-SU!.
My son Carter's hand in mine. I used so many SU! products let's see if I can remember them all: CS, gingham ribbon, hodgepodge hardware (pewter), brads, vellum, Stamp sets are Canvas, Brushstroke alpha, Natural Beauty, Tall Tales alpha.
Everything here is from the Out & About simply scrappin' kit except the flower. I used the Headline Alpha for the title.
Just a simple layout. Sleep was stamped with the Brushstroke alpha, then I used the white gel-pen for the journaling. I also used the gel pen on my swirly stamp to ink it up and stamp on the cardstock. You have to be quick though!

A few more projects

This is an altered, unused paint can. It's the 1 litre size. It's great to use as a wrapping for a gift.

This is a purse I CASEd (copy and stole everything) from someone, sorry can't remember who, on splitcoaststampers. I made 6 for my niece to use as goodie bags for her birthday. I think they are just the cutest thing!!

You can't see very well throught the netting, but the image on the candle is the same as on the tag. So easy to make and a great gift to give.

I borrowed this set from my good friend Bev and had a blast playing with it. It's moved way up on my wishlist. lol

A card I made for my penpal. This is another set I borrowed but really thinking about buying now that I've used it.

So here are a few pics, I hope

This is an older card I made for the Pumpkin Fair back in October. The background strip is polished stone technique. Nothing fancy, just trying out this photo upload thing. Now I need to figure out how to add links. I'll get there yet!!

It is crazy windy out there today. YIKES!! So glad the boys don't mind being inside.
I did get a lot done while Carter was napping this morning. My studio is now 98% organized. Still a little more to go. Now I just need to do some decorating...
Hoping tonight or tomorrow I'll post some pictures of my projects. Still need to figure that out.
I should have my newsletter out on the weekend or early next week. Email and snail mail.
Not much more to say, just yet.

Here we are

Well, I decided to join the craze and create my own blog. I'll use it mainly to keep customers and friends informed on my classes, specials and important dates. I'm hoping to even upload photos of projects I make. (once I figure out how to do that)
