Productive week

I think I got a lot done this week. Considering we had some company inbetween.

This first layout is a 12 x 12 on Kraft cs. Love this design, I've used it a few times. Another 12 x 12 layout. This one is on Taken with Teal. Used the Petals and Paisley's pp. I handdrew the doodles. I journaled around the pics with the Taken with Teal marker but doesn't show very well, may redo it in brown or something yet. The flowers I used are like the ones that are available in our new pretties kit.
A card I made for a friends mom. She broke her hip. Not a good time as they are moving to their new house they just built. Hopefully this will brighten her day.

I used Non-SU! flourish stamp and dragonfly brad. The rest is SU!.
Here is a close up of the flowers, they are so pretty IRL. I just can't get enough of the dazzling diamonds.
Here's a birthday card for a friend. Wasn't sure how to add a 'happy birthday' sentiment and then decided on the tag. I also don't have the scallop punch YET, so used my decorative scissors to cut the Creamy Caramel circle. Flowers are Non-SU!.
Here is a close up of the tag. I attached it with sparkly embroidery floss.

Christmas in July

hehehe, no, I'm not celebrating Christmas early. I joined a Christmas in July swap and so I've been making Christmas cards. 2 designs, 10 of each.

This first one is done with Flaky Friends stamp set using Basheful Blue and Pretty in Pink color combo. Almost looks like a baby Christmas card. Very cute. I mixed dazzling diamonds with some crystal effects and brushed the snow under the snowmen. I also added a little to the earmuffs, star, and touque.

On this one I stamped the Real Red cs with RR and white ink. . The stamp set I used was Holiday Tag Team. I used my watercolor pencils and blender pens to color in the image. On the present I put a layer of crystal effects to give it a little shine.

New catti special

So, I'm thinking of having a new catti special. I should have my preordered catti's on Tuesday or Wednesday. What to do though?? Any ideas, suggestions? Do you perfer (or is it prefer?) free shipping or free product? How can I get you to spend those hard earned dollars people?? lol I'll take suggestions and have something by the end of the week, so stay tuned.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA

So how is everyone enjoying the long weekend?? I've been having a great time, got lots of scrappin' time in this weekend. Will post a layout or two.


I also had to make a sympathy card today. Found out that my cousin's husband passed away suddenly yesterday. He was only 46, too young!! So I made a card and will drop it off for the family.
I totally CASEd this card from labullard on SCS. Creamy Caramel cs and ink, Blush Blossom cs and ink, copper brads, ivory organdy ribbon, cs vellum. Sculpted Style, Best Blossoms and Ageless Adornment stamp sets (all retired) and Sincere Salutations. I dry debossed the calalilly so it gives it a 3D look. Beautiful in real life.
This page has all kinds in it. I made the scallop edge by punching circles out of pp, then cutting them in half and setting against the edge of the pp.


Not much for SU! on here. The metal tag was retired last year, so sad. I love using them and you can stamp anything you want onto them using stazon. Way cool.
I used the tire tracks wheel here to mimick a strip of pp. I really need to pull those wheels out more often. Love using them.
