Here are 2 layouts I did for my scrappers club. It seemed like the girls enjoyed making their layouts last night.
This one is Colby's 3 year pic. I used Close to Cocoa cs, 12 x 12, and the diamonds I cut myself using the Treehouse pp. Added a few buttons and a 'C'. I also inked the edges of the diamonds with Chocolate Chip Ink. I love how this one turned out. This is also Colby. Or should I say my 'vogue girl'. lol Some days he just loves to pose. Other days, I get the hand!!! Too funny. I absolutely love this pic of him so I blew it up to 8 x 10 and then cropped it a little. This is also a 12 x 12 layout. I used Handsome Hunter cs for the background and same color ink at the bottom. Again I used the Treehouse pp. (love that stuff!) Stamp set is It's About Time. The clock at the top is Buckeroo Blue cs and ink. Then I used twill with a pewter buckle.
Well, if it rains tomorrow I may get another few layouts or cards done so keep checking....

What else can ya do on a rainy day??
So here is what I did today. (Okay, so I cleaned a little too.)
This is a pic of my niece Ashley. I love doing 'girl' pages, such a change from all my boy stuff. Plus I get to use up some of my pink stuff! So anyway, this took most of my son's afternoon nap time. But I absolutely love the way it turned out. I used a retired set and can't think of the name of it but my sister has been begging for it ever since I got it. lol Anyway, stamped the flowers with versamark and used the bold brights assortment embossing powders on them. then cut them out. 'Ashley' was stamped with the Big Deal alphabet and cut out of Green Galore cs. I scalloped the Pink Passion cs with the corner rounder, just love doing that. I stamped the swirl from Sweet Shapes with Tempting Turquoise on TT cs and glued the flowers and letters over top. I also put microbeads in the center of each flower. This is some of the pp from the Notations line. (the brown is not SU!). The flowers are from a scrappin' kit (it was the sell-a-bration free one).
My best friend Cathie and her family! Used the Print Pattern bkgd stamp and brushstroke alpha with Always Artichoke ink on Kraft cs. The corner mount and flower are from the 'friend' scrappin' kit (hostess set choice level 1).
I just love rainy days for scrappin', just wish the boys would nap longer. lol. Hopefully I'll get a few more done tomorrow or Thursday and I can upload a few more.
I'm thinking of giving away a little blog candy but I'll have to think of a question for you all to answer first. So stay tuned....

A good friend of mine lost a close friend to cancer earlier this month. I wanted to make her a sympathy/thinking of you card. I used Measure of a Life stamp set. I colored the dragon fly with Watercolor Crayons and then added dazzling diamonds to it. Of course you can't see it really well in the photo, but I thought it turned out nice. I forgot to add the ribbon I had planned to use, oh well, it still turned out okay. I made this card at my last workshop and then I gave it to my sister for her Birthday. Love that paisley stamp.

What a great weekend!!
Okay, so the weather was horrible to do outside stuff, but the rain sure makes for guilt free scrapbooking time!! And scrapbook I did. I got 9 layouts done. Yeah!!!
Now for the confession.... As you all know I LOVE SU!, but I do use other products. I must say though, I do use SU! on every page.
This first page is 100% SU!. I wanted to keep it simple and focus on the picture. I used a chipboard star that I covered in cs and stamped the paisley stamp all over. The ribbon is from one of the ribbon originals pack.
This layout was inspired by the canvas class I took.
Another simple layout. The stars and diamonds are chipboard from SU! that I colored not quite navy with craft ink.
Not totally sure I like this one, but oh well. I'm not one to redo pages 100 times. It's okay. I used SU! tall tales alphabet for the 'sit' part of the title.I have a hard time working with a pp backgroud but love the way this one turned out. SU! pp(Au Chocolat)I love this one! I colored the "C" with red craft ink and then covered it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder to give it a little bling bling.Just a quick one for my book of me. I colored the letters with SU! chocolate chiop craft ink.
