I feel like giving something away

Anybody wanna win some blog candy? I have a little goodie pack put together for one lucky winner. All you have to do is guess which 5 stamp sets I bought from the Occasions Mini catalog. Yep, I bought 5, couldn't help myself. ;) The total retail value was $120.75 for all 5. If more than one person guesses right I'll put the names into a hat and pick a winner.
You have until Monday afternoon to send me your guesses.

alright, here are some shares

Finally, I have something to share, and only 1 is mine. I just can't seem to make the time to play in my studio. Something always comes up. I know summer will be really slack as we spend so much time outside. But until then I'll have to just leave everything and play. :)
Here are a few cards I recieved from my downline Liz. We did a little mini swap with each other. This first one is my favorite from the bunch. Love the black embossing on black and the fact she used Manhatten Flowers stamp set (my new fav). Will totally case this for a few cards I need to make.
This next card uses the Simple Friendship stamp set that's been on my list for a while now. I just love that butterfly!! I also love the way Liz used 2 ink colors on the butterfly and added the strip of glitter. Love it.
And lastly here is a card that I made. I love this Manhatten flower and I love coloring it in. I decided to color these yellow as it was a birthday card for a stampin' friend (who loves yellow roses). I embossed the outline in black EP and then used pencils and blender pens to color in. The full middle rose is on dimensionals but doesn't show well in the pic. Hope she enjoyed it.

okay, I lied

Didn't post my pics as I didn't get a chance to play very much. I did make a card for a birthday which is in my camera. I'll have to upload/crop/watermark it then I can share. I also made my mother in law a card and forgot to take a picture so I'll have to stop by her house later and do that.
For having a week off from work I sure didn't get a whole lot of scrappin'/stampin' done. Which was very sad for me. But, I did spend a lot of quality time with my boys and we all loved that.
Have a great day all, I'm off to my parents for an Easter gathering.

Occasions Mini Catalog

link is up! Check it out. Some awesome new stuff in there.
So I haven't had a chance to play in my studio lately but today is the day! After I get my butt off this thing I'm going to go play!!!!! So hopefully I'll be posting some pics tonight or tomorrow.

I'm looking for a few people who are interested in a marker group or ribbon group. I have a few already interested but need a few more players to make it a go. Both for the markers and the ribbon. Email me for details.

I'm here, and still amazing

Sorry I haven't posted in forever but it's been unreal crazy busy in this house since scrapday. Haven't even had a chance to just sit for sooooooo long. We are still dealing with water in the basement because of the frozen drain tile. Constantly vacuuming water, all day (some days more, some less). It's driving me crazy. That's not all that's driving me to drink, I mean crazy, with water downstairs I had to bring my daycare play area upstairs. So now my whole house is runover with toys and activities everywhere!!! Hoping this snow just hurrys up and melts so we can get this done and over with. Along with the wet basement, I've had a few SU! workshops and planned a surprise birthday party for my inlaws (with Dwight's 2 Aunts so don't ask how that went). But the party was a huge success and they were thrilled!!! So wirth it.
I'm going to share the cake I made for them because it's amazing. Oh ya, totally amazing. I got the idea from Amanda's creative cakes so it's not my own. I used 3 boxes of chocolate cake mix (I didn't have time to make cake from scratch, nor did I want to) to make 2 - 10" cakes and 2 - 6" cakes. Inbetween the cakes I poured chocolate ganache to keep them together. For those of you that don't know what chocolate ganache is, it's chocolate (and I used a milk chocolate Lindt bar) and whipping cream. I iced the sides with buttercream icing to attach the kitkat bars (only needed 22 bars). Then I poured more chocolate ganache on top and sprinkled the shavings from a Toblerone bar over top. I filled the martini glass with Malteasers.
The gold balls are Ferrero Rocher chocolates. It only took me 2 hours to assemble it all, not too bad I thought. Oh and the ribbon is real ribbon, not edible. (someone asked me at the party lol)
So once I get my room back I'm hoping to scrapbook or stamp or do something creative involving paper and ink!!!
