I've had a few minutes

This is a card going to a friend of mine who is going through a horrible time right now. Just want her to know to hang tough and things will turn out in time.
I used Cameo Coral and Always Artichoke cs and ink. I scalloped the cs with my corner rounder again. Love that look. This is one I did just because. I wasn't sure about the color combo but it's on the color coach so thought I would try it. Not bad, but it does look better IRL. But then again, I think cards always look better IRL. The flower is dry debossed to give it a 3-D look.

Have a great rainy and windy day!!

As promised

Here are a few layouts I've done this month.
This first one I've just added a photo to the pattern paper. I have no idea what else to add to not make it look overdone. I'm still playing around. The pp is from the Baroque Backgrounds pack. It's yummy!! This pp is also from the Baroque Backgrounds. I covered all 3 pieces of chipboard with pp. On the top part of the chocolate chip cardstock I ran my ink pad down it. Just to give it a little something without putting an acutal design on it. I also used the new Rhinestone brads. Very nice.
This entire layout is made from the Level 1 hostess scrappin' kit. Lots of fun to work with.

Not my fault

Really, it wasn't my fault I've been slack with posting on here. For the past week our wireless router wasn't working so I couldn't access my laptop, and this is where I upload all my pics onto. My desktop didn't like me trying to install my camera program onto there. So I just couldn't do it. Am I out of the doghouse yet?? Oh, the 3 weeks before that where I didn't post, um, just been busy with summer stuff I guess.

So, now that everything is back to normal I'm hoping to have some time tomorrow to show you some stuff. Stay tuned...

My name is Anne....

and I'm a swirlaholic!! Love, love, love all the swirls and flourishes!! Even Dwight noticed I was using them a lot. What can I say, I'm in love!
So anyway, this is what I've created in the past 2 days between changing diapers, playing cars, cooking and cleaning.
They are all made with the Priceless stamp set. I love Pink Passion and black together. I cut out the butterfly and used dimensionals. Very simple, very basic. Now lets see if I can remember what colors I used here. Kraft cs base, Pink Passion, Certainly Celery, Lavendar Lace and Brocade Blue. I also used the white gel pen to add the dots.
This one is white, black and Certainly Celery. I used my deckle scissors to cut the black circle. Can't wait for my scallop punch!! The brads are pewter as I don't have any black ones left.
This is the inside of the card. I don't very often stamp a verse inside but I like this one and it's going to be an anniversary card.
Did I mention I like black and Pink Passion together?? Maybe it's because in a house full of boys I don't do much with pink. lol I'm not 100% happy with this card, should have made the square with the butterfly smaller. Oh well, next time.

While the cats away...

the mice will play.

Dwight was working all evening yesterday so I took the opportunity to stamp in peace. Put the boys to bed, turned on some music and created a few cards and pages.

As some of you know I'm not "exclusive" to SU!. Don't get me wrong. I love SU! and they carry some of the best products, but there are a lot of other awesome companies and products out there. SU! coordinates very well with many of them!! So I will start posting some of my creations that aren't solely SU!. I hope you can see all the great ways you can incorporate SU! onto any layout or project.
Alright, my first card here is with the Baroque Motifs stamp set. Have I mentioned how much I love this set yet!! The cs and ink is Pink Passion and whisper White. I've created a shadow effect by first stamping with color and then the white overtop, slightly off. I also added dazzling diamonds to the center of the flowers to give it a little extra sparkle.
This next card again using Baroque Motifs. I used Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue ink and cardstock as well as a chocolate chip cs base. The ribbon is the silver organdy ribbon that retired. Here is an old classic, Lovely as a Tree. Wanted a more masculine card and I always seem to reach for this set. The trees are stamped in mellow moss, the sentiment in Not Quite Navy. CS used was Not Quite Navy, Bordering Blue, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss and Wispher White. This was a quick layout. From SU! I used the chipboard star and covered with a dark cs then stamped the It's About Time clock onto it with Whisper white ink. Used the black marker to doodle around the circle and write 'he' and 'you'. As well as the white cs base and black cs mat around the photos.
